What To Wear To Christmas Eve Service – The Mom Edit

We ’ ll be heading to the in-law ’ sulfur in the country ( and I do mean country ) for Christmas, and will be going to Christmas Eve mass at the little church in town. It ’ s constantly charming and cover girl, but I do hesitate a bit…as far as what to wear. Heels or dainty flats ? Dressy dress or fancy pants ? I love a good reason to dress it up, and Christmas is the proper time to get FESTIVE AF, but I besides want to be comfortable in a decidedly more laid-back environment…so, I try to hit that dulcet spot — on the fondness end, but a more casual illusion ( if that makes any sense at all ) .
What to Wear to Christmas Eve Service
I had to find that one matter that was merely the proper sum of * extra * …and thankfully I landed on this stunning appliquéd musical instrument digital interface skirt from H & M. I may have let out an “ eeee ! ” and danced a bit in my chair, as I added it to my handcart and purchased that baby. Knowing that I wanted to bring it in a more fooling direction, I went with a easy pullover kashmir sweater ( my current favorite, btw — scored it during the Nordy sale ). even with it being a quite free-and-easy dash, when paired with the fancaaay little skirt it was immediately elevated to dressy…and there ’ s just something so epicurean about wearing cashmere ( I mean, lupus erythematosus duh ) .
immediately, shoes. Heels constantly make me feel room over-done for some cause. It doesn ’ deoxythymidine monophosphate matter where or for what I ’ megabyte wearing them ( I think its my monstrous acme ), so it was about excessively easy for me to go for the pretty flats. besides, the whole black-on-black matter I had going on was asking for a bite of vacation cheerfulness, so pretty bourgogne flats and crystal-drop earrings happened .

top : Halogen Crewneck Cashmere Sweater – have been truly print with the Halogen kashmir sweaters. If you prefer something less costly, consider this 1901 Fitted Turtleneck sweater. Can be shipped in time for Christmas Eve.
skirt : H & M midi skirt ( TTS, wearing 4 ) – this black annulus is something a small different with the reasonably appliqués. I feel all fancy wearing it. If you need something fast ( before Christmas Eve ), Nordstrom can ship something just in the nick of time. They have this Something Navy Sequin Midi that would look amaaaazing with a pullover perspirer. Can be shipped in meter for Christmas Eve .
shoes : Eileen Fisher ( presently sold out ) – a similar stylus is these J.Crew Poppy Ballet Flats or you can go the aristocratic path with these Louise et Cie Ankle Strap Flats. Can be shipped in time for Christmas Eve .
bag : Sparkly crossbody – glitter. Don ’ thyroxine think I need to say anything else about it .
earring : Sugarfix Icicle Drop Earring – the Baublebar pipeline at Target is one of my darling things they ’ ve carried. low-cost options and all so gay !
lip : urban Decay Vice Backtalk Matte – the only brim color I wear. I LOVE IT. besides, just found out that I can get it for less on eBay. Winning .
